After Syracuse quarterback Garrett Shrader successfully pulled off a pair of bootleg fakes against Purdue, head coach Dino Babers declared that SU was the “faking capital of the world.” I put Babers’ claim to the test and analyzed Syracuse’s history of deception for this in-depth piece ahead of the Orange’s showdown with Clemson.

Ahead of the season opener for the Syracuse football team, I traveled to Hamilton, NY to interview Colgate head coach Stan Dakosty. He was on staff the last time the Raiders played the Orange in 2016, which was the first game Dino Babers coached for SU.

Onondaga Lake in Syracuse used to be one of the most polluted lakes in the country, but after decades of cleanup, it’s finally safe to sail on. In September 2023, the Onondaga Yacht Club held the largest regatta in its history, featuring 45 competitors from around the country. I voiced, wrote, shot, and edited this package on a day-turn for NCC News, the student-run news source at Syracuse University’s Newhouse School.

Feature: Vermont Lacrosse Player Shares Special Connection with Coach (2/4/23)

As a beat reporter covering the Syracuse men's lacrosse team, I honed in on a challenge the Orange would face in its 2023 season opener: Vermont faceoff specialist Tommy Burke. The senior, who owns every program record for faceoffs, found his way to Burlington through a connection he shared with UVM head coach Chris Feifs. Both attended Camp Dudley — the oldest continually running boys camp in America — located in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. For this lengthier feature, I talked with Feifs about their shared link and what Burke has meant for the Vermont program.

In eighth grade, as art of a year-ending “passion project,” I produced a 21-minute documentary on the ten greatest players in NBA history. I interviewed a number of decorated journalists who covered the players we selected, including Rick Telander, Mike Lynch, and Don Harris.
